Brewing a bold identity that blends shelf impact with storytelling
Efren Cavazos led the complete brand development for Café Diario, a
specialty coffee brand seeking to establish a distinctive presence in a
crowded market. Starting from the ground up, he directed the creation of
a cohesive visual identity that captured the brand’s artisanal quality and
approachable sophistication. This included logo design, typography
selection, color palette, and supporting graphic elements designed for
consistent application across all platforms.
The core of the project focused on packaging design for multiple
coffee varieties. Efren developed layouts that balanced shelf impact
with storytelling—integrating origin details, roast profiles, and
brand narrative in a way that was both visually engaging and easy
for customers to navigate. He ensured every packaging element
adhered to production requirements while maintaining the integrity
of the brand’s aesthetic.
In addition to packaging, Efren oversaw the design of supporting
marketing collateral such as point-of-sale materials, product
sheets, and promotional displays. By blending strategic brand
positioning with refined design execution, he helped Café Diario
build a recognizable identity that resonates with both retail buyers
and end consumers.
